Telephones for hearing impaired to be capable of min. of 12 dBA and a max. of 18 dBA 
above normal. If automatic reset is provided, 18 dBA ,may be exceeded. Public telephones with volume control to be hearing aid compatible and identified by a sign with telephone handset and radiating sound waves.
