Restroom Door Signs / California

Doorways leading to sanitary facilities to be identified with geometric symbol centered on door 60” above finish floor.  Edges of signs to be rounded.  Signs to be ¼” thick. Corners of signs to have min. radius of 1/8”.

Mens – equilateral triangle with edges 12” long.  Triangle symbol to contrast with door finish.

Womens – circle 12” in diameter

Unisex – 12” diameter circle with superimposed triangle.  Triangle to contrast with circle & circle to contrast with door.

Note: there is no requirement for a graphic symbol, text or ISA on the California door sign.

    Are there any required accessories, besides grab bars and toilet paper dispenser, for seat cover dispensers, soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, coat hooks etc. in an ADA restroom? There is a compliant sink & mirror installed.
